Relsseg Gessler
Growing up in the late 70s and spending my teen in the 1980s, most of my peers seemed to be drawn towards the popular music of that period. But not me. I had access to thousands of old LPs and was drawn to bands like Gong, Hawkwind, Tangerine Dream and the Moodys no less. By the later part of the mid 1980s, my peers was rejecting the provisions forced upon us and took to the alternative in great number. i was about 13 when i heard Days Of Future Past and in Search Of The Lost Chord. I was hooked and knew every lyric which i could explain to my peers as we listened. It seemed so easy to me, even if hidden or implied.I used to compose myself at that time. I had a number of old Analogue Synthesizers and effects with an 8 track recorder. Have you heard Refugees by Van Der Graaf Generator? Oh what we have lost but can still reclaim! Thank you for the great video depiction on this track. x
