Anyone who is familiar with my current composition style knows that it is riddled with influences of Kapustin but in a way more subtle manner. Just to inform you if you didnt know Simon, Jazz can be composed and isnt always improvised though jazz musicians improvise so much, there compositions sometimes always has this imprvisatory feel. Overall, the performance was a little weak but this piece is incredibly challenging and any attempt should be praised even if its just for the share bravery and courage required to face the sheet music of the piece. Also....dat piano is so wonky! Why wasnt there a Steinway or Yamaha present xD!

this is a hard piece if transitioning from a classical background because the off beats and up beats are now important... slow practice exact counting in required...my Bach has improved playing Kapustin his technique is very advanced.
