By right they had more right to the name Parliament than Funkadelic, because it was only later after George released Parliament material on Cassablanca Records, that were billed as PARLIAMENT/FUNKADELIC OR SOMETIMES FUNKADELIC/PARLIAMENTHOWEVER ON ALBUM LINER NOTES I ALWAYS SAW A PARLIAFUNKADELIAMENTTHANG !!

It is easy to blame greed except it is never directed in the right direction. Greed for drugs is what led to the demise of P-Funk. Grady, Fuzzy, Calvin and later Ray, decided they rather spend thousands on their bills and children. Others had other attitudes concerning HOW to spend the money and made sure they made more by writing songs that did not require the efforts of the members who left.
