Years ago about 1978, I went to see Carmen Cavallaro perform at the La Fiesta nightclub in Juarez, Mexico. He did a whole medley of songs from the Eddy Duchin movie in which he played the music. I got to talk with him after the show. Quite personable and down to earth.

What a great vocal. In fact the vocals and music of those days, and the f40s were far better than the 60s on, and some of the 50s, but especially the 60s on. I love the sound, too. Just been watching the Eddy Duchin story on TV. Tyrone Power did wondrful in that role.
