Oh gosh this is just so moving a performance. Wonderful orchestra and the brilliance of Kern and Hammerstein.
What a sad life she had- chronic alcoholism, and giving up her infant daughter for adoption, and an early death.
Thankfully we have these recordings, and Utube, and folks like you to post.
